Our Golden Cornbread is made from fresh ground corn and millet from Pfz Farms. The aroma and flavor are amazing and it makes a great addition to any meal or just as a snack with butter and honey. When commercial cornmeal is produced the millers first remove the germ from the corn kernels, they do this for two reasons; first, the product stays fresher longer and second they sell the oil produced from the germ as a separate product. The issue is that it also removes the oils from the cornmeal and takes the flavor with it. Our cornbread is made with Colorado-grown proso millet flour and non-GMO cornmeal that was raised and milled on Pfz Farms. Proso millet is a gluten-free grain that can be milled into flour that, when baked, cooks up with flavors and textures just like wheat flour. Ingredients: Pfz Farms cornmeal, Pfz Farms millet flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and xanthan gum

Needed ingredients: 2 eggs, 1 c milk, and 1/4 c butter
